A safe, structured sober living home for women committed to healing, rebuilding, and long-term recovery.

At The Sonoran House, we operate as a Member-Managed Community, which means every resident plays an active role in maintaining the home, creating structure, and supporting the recovery environment. This approach builds responsibility, accountability, confidence, and essential life skills — all of which are key to long-term sobriety.

This approach builds responsibility, accountability, confidence, and essential life skills — all of which are key to long-term sobriety.
Residents actively participate in the day-to-day functioning of the home, including:
Each member is assigned weekly responsibilities to keep the home clean, organized, and safe.
Members help maintain a respectful environment by upholding house expectations, sobriety requirements, and supportive communication.
Weekly meetings ensure all voices are heard, concerns are addressed, and the community stays aligned.
Residents support one another through encouragement, conflict resolution, and shared accountability.
Each member creates individual recovery and life goals, with the community offering motivation along the way.
• Builds independence and responsibility
• Encourages teamwork, communication, and trust
• Strengthens recovery through healthy routines
• Helps residents develop real-world life skills
• Creates a safe, stable, empowered community
While The Sonoran House is member-managed, professional oversight is still provided to ensure structure, safety, and adherence to policies. Staff guide the home’s standards, support residents, and step in when needed, while still allowing members to grow in independence.
This model ensures every woman feels valued, included, and capable. Together, members create a home that supports recovery, stability, and a strong foundation for the future.

Our residents participate in a structured 12-week Life Skills Program designed to build confidence, independence, and real-world success.
